Purchasing credits does not guarantee you will win the client — it gives you the opportunity to pitch.
WorkIndex is a lead generation platform, not a job guarantee platform.
Credit packages are one-time purchases with no expiry date.

📨 Approaches & Leads

Only 5 experts can send an approach on any single client request — first come, first served.
Responding early significantly increases your chances of being selected — clients tend to engage with the first few approaches they receive.
Credits spent to unlock a request are not returned even if the client is unresponsive, hires someone else, or cancels.
WorkIndex does not control or influence which expert a client chooses.
You are responsible for your own communication, pricing, and delivery after connecting with a client.

🔍 Direct Hire via Explore

Clients may discover your profile through the Explore section and invite you directly to their request.
Credits are still required to respond to a direct invite and unlock the client's contact details.
A direct invite signals client interest but does not waive the credit requirement.
Direct invites are based on your profile visibility, ratings, and profile strength score.

👤 Profile & Profile Strength

A complete profile significantly increases your chances of being discovered and invited by clients.
Profile strength is based on: photo, bio, specialization, services, location, experience, and ratings.
Experts with higher profile strength appear higher in search results and receive more direct invites.
You must provide accurate information about your qualifications and experience.
Misrepresenting credentials is grounds for immediate account suspension with no credit refund.

📁 Documents & File Access

Clients may share documents with you through the platform for the purpose of completing their requested service.
You may request document access only when it is genuinely required to assess or deliver the service.
After a client grants you access, you may download and use documents solely for delivering the requested service.
Downloaded documents must not be shared with third parties, used for unrelated purposes, or retained after the engagement ends.
Misuse of client documents will result in immediate permanent ban and may be reported to relevant authorities.
Once a client revokes access, you must immediately cease use of any information obtained from those documents.

⭐ Ratings & Conduct

Clients can rate you after work completion and those reviews are public.
WorkIndex does not remove negative reviews unless they violate platform guidelines.
You are expected to maintain professional conduct at all times.
WorkIndex reserves the right to remove profiles with consistent negative ratings or reports.

You can post service requests for free.
You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information in your request.
Posting fake or misleading requests may result in account suspension.
Each request is visible to experts matching your service category and location.

📨 How Expert Selection Works

A maximum of 5 experts can approach you per request — ensuring only serious, relevant proposals.
Experts who respond early are more committed and available — review approaches promptly for best results.
You are under no obligation to hire any expert who approaches you.
Once you select an expert, we recommend marking your request to avoid further approaches.

You may browse verified expert profiles in the Explore section and shortlist or invite experts directly.
Inviting an expert directly does not cost you anything.
You are responsible for verifying an expert's credentials and suitability before hiring.
WorkIndex profiles show ratings and reviews from past clients to help you decide.

📁 Documents & File Sharing

You may upload documents to your account and share them with experts you are working with.
Nothing is shared without your explicit approval — you control all access.
You may grant or revoke document access to any expert at any time.
WorkIndex stores your documents securely but is not liable for misuse after you have granted access.
